Application

Sodium Phosphate Dibasic Anhydrous is typically used as a component in the preparation of phosphate based buffers. The pKa of 6.82 (25 C) for phosphate buffers make them a universal buffer for biological applications such as cell culture medias, column eluent solutions and reagents used in molecular biology. Sodium phosphate salts are highly water soluble and provides high-solution clarity.

Specific applications include buffers for protein purification, bioprocessing and diagnostic reagent production.
